World Day of Prayer 2020

About 35 people gathered at St. Matthew's on March 6, 2020, to pray for Zimbabwe, that its people might achieve a peaceful political transition. St. Philip's Lutheran, St. George's Roman Catholic, and St. James' United also participated. The theme was "Take up you mat and walk" based on John 5:2-9. Many thanks to the World Day of Prayer Committee of Zimbabwe.

Feb. 2020 Messy Church: God's Family Around the World

On Saturday February 29th, we learned about children in other parts of the world and things they like to do. We made soccer balls from newspaper and string, had bicycle-wheel races, and met someone from Sleeping Children Around the World who told us more about children's lives in different countries. We also explored the challenges of clean water we face, even in Canada.

On Sunday, February 23rd, our St. Matthew's family gathered to review our 2019 Vestry report.
